Forearm Push-up is an intermediate multi-joint compound pushing exercise targeting the Pectorals in the Chest region. Performed using bodyweight, it combines a push-up with a plank transition. Secondary muscles engaged include Triceps, Abs and Shoulders.
list_alt Step-by-Step Instructions
Begin in a high plank position with your hands directly under your shoulders.
Lower your right forearm to the ground, then your left forearm, coming into a forearm plank.
Press back up to the starting high plank by placing your right hand, then your left hand, back on the ground.
Keep your hips level throughout — avoid rocking side to side.
Alternate the leading arm with each repetition.
Engage your core throughout the entire movement.
