  1. Begin with your hands shoulder width apart and your feet hip width apart. Walk your feet backward until your body forms an inverted V shape with your hips lifted toward the ceiling.
  2. Keeping your hands firmly planted, flex one knee lifting your foot off the floor while the opposite leg remains extended.
  3. Return your foot to the starting position, then immediately drive the opposite leg in the same way.
  4. Continue alternating legs in a smooth, controlled sprinting motion while keeping your hips elevated and your upper body stable.

Form tips

  • Lift each knee toward your chest without rounding your upper back.
  • Maintain your hips high throughout the exercise instead of shifting into a plank position.
  • Engage your core to minimize movement through your torso.
  • Inhale as you return your foot to the floor and exhale as you drive your knee forward.
