How to do Cable Twisting Biceps Curl

  1. Stand slightly sideways to a low cable pulley and hold the handle with one hand using a neutral grip. Keep your elbow close to your side and your arm fully extended.
  2. Curl the handle toward your shoulder while rotating your forearm from a neutral grip into a supinated grip as your elbow bends.
  3. Pause briefly at the top of the movement with your palm facing upward while squeezing your biceps.
  4. Slowly lower the handle back to the starting position while rotating your forearm back to a neutral grip. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching sides.

Form tips

  • Keep your elbow close to your side throughout the movement and avoid using momentum to curl the weight up.
  • Perform the movement smoothly to maintain constant tension throughout the exercise.
  • Finish each repetition with a fully supinated grip to maximize biceps contraction.
  • Inhale as you lower the handle and exhale as you curl it upward.
